How to Operate SEO Note

If you have ever worked with Notebook or Word, then in comparison with these programs our program looks simple. Each document in our program looks like article, the access to which is accomplished via choosing it in the tree in the separate window, that after the program`s start appears in the left part of the program.
The advantage of SEO Note consists in that you can, as you want, structure your articles using tree-like structure in the separate window and via this structure accomplish quick and convenient access to the information in the article that you are interested in at the moment.

Using of Tree Structure

Tree structure is a structure of links to the articles in SEO Note document. You can look through all the tree structure, using the button of scrolling in the right part of the separate window if it doesn`t fit into the current size of the separate window.
Each branch of the tree structure is called a note. When you choose a note in the tree structure its article appears in the main window (editor). If the article is bigger than the current size of the editor window, then in the right side the scrolling button appears for reviewing all the document or possibility to edit any place of the article.
To turn from the article to the tree structure click on the tree, to edit the article click on the editor window.
A note can contain numerous subnotes that are called "child notes". Child notes can contain additional subnotes etc. This multilevel structure offers SEO Note advantages over other editors that don`t use tree structure.
When the note contains child notes it is called "parent note" plus [+] before its name (when the note is closed).
To review subnotes of the closed note make a double click on the note name. The note opens and [+] turns into [-]. To close the open note click on [-] or make a double click on the note name.
You can add, delete, rename or drag notes. You can create any data structure placing the notes with the articles according to their category and contents to the other notes etc.
When you create a note the article is created with it, when you delete the note the article is deleted with it.
You can create notes containing the following types of articles:

• Text - simple text editor that will let you operate simple text document.

• Rich Text - the editor that looks like Word, that will let you edit text, paragraph, space, color, size, font styles, tabulation etc. Using this type of the article you can use technology OLE, i.e. eou can paste into your article any objects of the program (for example, diagrams, pictures, clips, sound files, text documents etc.), that support this technology. Introduction of these objects will let you make your articles more data-intensive and besides edit these objects in our program.

• Html - the most simple html - articles` editor that let you cerate and edit html-articles which you can export into html files in future. Our html-editor lets you paste pictures, make links and format articles` text using different styles, sizes and colors.

You can also enter note description, review this note`s stats, enter password into some note, put the flag only to review the article but not to edit it (this function works only for notes with text- and rich-text modes), find the note according to its name, sort the tree structure on some bases, adjust to the note any files, then extract and operate them, convert the note`s article into any of the following types (txt, rtf, html), place the icon on the note.

Editor Operating

The Editor - is a part of program, which shows contents of your notes. Clicking your note you can see contents of it. The editor gives you review contents or edit it.

Depending on the format of the text, the editor can be a simple text editor, rich text editor or html editor. For each text format there is its own editor toolbar, which gives you access to edit options of the article.

Each editor has its context menu, where you can access by clicking right-mouse button.

Using html-editor, you can switch to the "source mode", which displays contents of the html-article in html code mode. This editor also allows you to look through the article and to edit it. To switch to the "source mode" press Ctrl+R or choose the item in the main toolbar View->HTML->Source. To switch to the "web view" press Ctrl+W or choose View->HTML->Web.

Additional

You can also import the whole trees from TreePad 2.7 and KeyNote 1.6.5 and also import contents from TXT, RTF, DOC and HTML files to your articles. At the same time you can easily import your own articles to these formats (txt, rtf, html).

The separate window and the editor have context menus. You can access them easily by right-mouse click or by press a special button on your keyboard, which is left to the 'ctrl' button.

SEO Note has the main toolbar which gives you access to the most common operations: create new documents, open existing documents, accomplish simple functions of editing your articles like 'copy', 'paste', 'del' and 'cut', and also 'add date' and 'add time' to your articles.
